The lake is in the southern fishing zone. Northern Pike, Walleye and Yellow Perch can be found in Batka Lake. It was last stocked in 2023 with 50,000 Walleye Fry.
Duck Mountain Provincial Park is adjacent the lake. Batka Lake is partially within Cote No. 271 (Rural Municipality).
