Bitter Lake is a very large lake located 18km SW of Golden Prairie and 146km W of Swift Current. The lake has a surface area of 6,065 acres and is located at: 50.108913436002126,-109.82102937073755.
The lake is in the southern fishing zone. We don't know of any fish species that can be found in Bitter Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake. Bitter Lake is partially within Enterprise No. 142 (Rural Municipality) and partially within Maple Creek No. 111 (Rural Municipality).
McLaren Lake Regional Park is 22km SSE, McLaren Lake Game Preserve is 20km SSE and Prairie National Wildlife Area is 217km SW of Bitter Lake.
The lake was officially named on 1944-03-18.
