Tyrell Lake Recreation Site is 18km N and Tyrrell Lake Recreation Site is 18km N of Blight Lake.
Blight Lake was named after Henry Thomas Blight on 1953-07-02 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
