Bug Lake is a small lake located 17km N of Chitek Lake (Village) and 52km ESE of Meadow Lake (City). The lake has a surface area of 123 acres and is located at: 53.906759,-107.738317.
The lake is in the southern fishing zone. Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike and White Sucker can be found in Bug Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake. Bug Lake is within Big River No. 555 (Rural Municipality).
Chitek Lake Recreation Site is 17km N, Island Lake Recreation Site is 7.6km S, Lac Eauclaire Recreation Site is 5.8km NNW and Shell Lake Recreation Site is 12km NW of Bug Lake.
The lake was officially named on 1956-10-04.
