Chaplin Lake is a massive lake located 7.7km SSE of Chaplin and 75km W of Moose Jaw. The lake has a surface area of 42,360 acres and is located at: 50.4016,-106.6004.

There are no parks or communities on the lake. Chaplin Lake is within Chaplin No. 164 (Rural Municipality).
Secretan Recreation Site is 12km SW of Chaplin Lake.
