Deserter Lake is a small stocked lake located 20km SW of Spiritwood and 65km NNE of North Battleford. The lake has a surface area of 260 acres and is located at: 53.263224620332466,-107.76120385604325.
The lake is in the southern fishing zone. Burbot, Northern Pike, Walleye, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Deserter Lake. It was last stocked in 2013 with 40,000 Northern Pike Fry.
There are no parks or communities on the lake. Deserter Lake is partially within Spiritwood No. 496 (Rural Municipality) and partially within Medstead No. 497 (Rural Municipality).
Meeting Lake Regional Park is 8.3km NNW of Deserter Lake.
