The lake is in the southern fishing zone. Burbot, Cisco, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike, Walleye, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Lac Pellitier. It was last stocked in 2022 with 200,000 Walleye Fry.

There are no parks or communities on the lake. Lac Pellitier is within Lac Pelletier No. 107 (Rural Municipality).

Duncairn Reservoir Bird Sanctuary is 14km ESE and Lac Pelletier Regional Park is 2.4km WNW of Lac Pellitier.
