The lake is in the northern fishing zone. Cisco, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Marchand Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake. Marchand Lake is partially within Southend 200A (Reserve) and partially within Southend 200 (Reserve).
