Nipew Lake is a very large lake located 64km NNE of La Ronge and 277km N of Prince Albert. The lake has a surface area of 6,689 acres and is located at: 55.67324259781888,-105.02702607755614.
The lake is in the central fishing zone. Burbot, Cisco, Lake Trout, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike, Sauger and Walleye can be found in Nipew Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake.
Lac La Ronge Provincial Park is 38km NNW, MacKay Lake Recreation Site is 26km NNW, Devil Lake Recreation Site is 19km W, Dickens Lake Recreation Site is 24km WSW and Missinipe Recreation Site is 18km WNW of Nipew Lake.
The lake was officially named on 1958-06-05. The name Nipew Lake is of Cree origin.
