The lake is in the southern fishing zone. We don't know of any fish species that can be found in Paddling Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake. Paddling Lake is partially within Muskeg Lake Cree Nation 102 (Reserve) and partially within Leask No. 464 (Rural Municipality).
Emerald Lake Regional Park is 25km S, Prairie National Wildlife Area is 169km NNE and Martins Lake Regional Park is 6km SE of Paddling Lake.
