Porter Lake is a massive lake located 90km NE of Buffalo Narrows and 255km NNE of Meadow Lake (City). The lake has a surface area of 14,702 acres and is located at: 56.32836022116171,-107.35171080522612.
The lake is in the northern fishing zone. Burbot, Lake Trout, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike and Walleye can be found in Porter Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake. Porter Lake is partially within English River 192H (Reserve).
The lake was officially named on 1938-02-01.
