The lake is in the central fishing zone. We don't know of any fish species that can be found in Silver Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake.
Pagan Lake Recreation Site is 25km ESE, Saint Cyr Hills Trails Recreation Site is 17km ENE and Beaver/Cowan Rivers Recreation Site is 19km SSW of Silver Lake.
The lake was officially named on 1932-01-05.
