The lake is in the central fishing zone. Burbot, Cisco, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike, Walleye, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Triveet Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake.
Besnard Lake Recreation Site is 21km ESE of Triveet Lake.
