The lake is in the southern fishing zone. We don't know of any fish species that can be found in Watson Reservoir. It was last stocked in 2018 with 200,000 Walleye Fry.
Dunnet Regional Park is adjacent to the reservoir. Watson Reservoir is within Elmsthorpe No. 100 (Rural Municipality).
